من أورانج الفرنسية إلى الجيل الخامس.. سورية تتحدى الوقت لبناء شبكة اتصال جديدة تغير مستقبل الاتصالات بحلول 2026
In a historic move led by Syria, Minister of Communications Abdul Salam Haikal announced a radical transformation of cellular services set to begin in 2026, promising millions of Syrians a top-tier cellular network after years of decline and weak infrastructure. This achievement stems from intense governmental efforts including partnerships and negotiations with global telecommunications giants, notably the French titan Orange. Legal and regulatory challenges have been addressed to open the sector for investment and infrastructure modernization. This transformation will manifest through the deployment of 5G services, positioning Syria back on the map of advanced digital communications. Furthermore, the ministry has signed consultancy agreements with global experts to support network development projects and ensure reliable high-speed internet access for every citizen. Strategic projects like "Silk Link" and "Barq Net" attract wide international corporate interest, reflecting renewed confidence in Syria's telecommunications market and underscoring telecommunications' role as a key driver for comprehensive development and reconstruction.
